Breaking the Limits won a series of awards at the Polish Film Festival 2018 including the Golden Lion Audience Award, the Golden Lion for Best Debut Performance: Kamila Kamińska and the Golden Lion for Best Screenplay: Marek Warszewski. The film also won the Audience Award at the International Film Festival Tofifest 2018.
Directed by award-winning director Łukasz Palkowski whose film Gods picked up a string of awards at the Polish Film Awards in 2015 including Best Film, he also directed season one of the record-breaking TV crime drama The Teach for Canal+.
